Get it off the exchanges if you haven’t already. There’s further liquidity crisis coming for them if this continues

remember nothing fundamentally has changed with bitcoin. there is so much development with lightning, taro etc. it’s just the market burning off the dead crypto wood. the price does not reflect any thing fundamentally wrong with bitcoin it’s just overleveraged degens selling off.

I always harken back to what the speculation was ~10 years ago. Back then, best case scenario? BTC sees mass adoption and all the muggles flood in, which would naturally create massive market volatility. “Lucky for us, we already purchased!” And then most of us sold off the bulk of our coins along the way and now face regret for not HODLing longer.

Bitcoin is in the third stage of its development right now – mass adoption. The first stage was genesis and second was the golden era of GPU mining and faucet aggregators. From the beginning, we have been on the best possible trajectory. But because we are in that limbo stage between mass adoption and the establishment of competent regulation, market volatility is inevitable.

Why do I think BTC will recover? Because I doubted with the collapse of Mt. Gox. I doubted when the price dropped in 2014, 2018 and 2020. I’m done doubting.

Because literally nothing has changed about BTC and more and more people understand it every day.

Very, very few people truly understand it and decide to exit. A landslide more people DCA every week.

Information age we live in and BTC is impossible to hid. Especially with layered advancements every day.

Is there further downside from here? Probably. Should you be afraid to buy now? Absolutely not! I’ve been in BTC since 2016 and this kind of volatility is just the price we need to pay in order to be in the game. If history has anything to say BTC has always returned back upwards. Of course we have a very different macro economic situation, on that BTC hasn’t really been exposed to before, but for those of use who have been here for some years have seen crashes come and go. I’ve made my purchases at such crash times. Of course I never really caught the absolute bottom, but big crash days are long term plays. I’m now have a decent number of BTC in my hodl wallet as a result. It’s simply a good DCA opportunity for hodlers, regardless of when you first bought.

It is very simple. First the government’s ability to print money on a whim has made me lose faith in fiat. That is why I believe BTC will be fine. This is just the down cycle.

How do we escape… that’s easy. As everyone sells, there will be less and less people willing to sell, eventually everyone who’s willing to sell has already sold leaving no sellers. At those cheaper prices people will once again buy, at first just a few brave souls will do this, taking a gamble thinking ‘why not, it’s cheap and bitcoin made people really rich in the past, so why not’, those first buyers cause the price to go up a little and now an upward trend is forming, now more people want to buy because they see an upward trend and so the trend once again accelerates and starts to go up faster and faster.

So long as nothing is fundamentally wrong with the bitcoin technology then it fundamentally has value. All the volatility we see is just mass psychology playing out, basically people are not yet 100% convinced that bitcoin is everything that it has been hyped up to be, so they are quick to buy and quick to sell. Just stay patient and enjoy the ride.

    I have a different perspective.
Nothing has changed regarding Bitcoin in any fundamental way….except the price.

    Still secure.
Still pumping out blocks every ~10 min.

We escape by HODLing on secure cold storage wallets…because we do not need to escape Bitcoin. Just the (reckless, dare I say criminal)
    exchanges.

    To the moon.

Bitcoin has survived PLENTY of these drawdowns over the last 14 years.

Until something is proven differently – bitcoin will start revving up its engine going into the 2024 halving.

Then? See you on the other side 🌙

It’s risky, the whole system could fail, but if you have enough in fiat world, just hold it,

for years, probably, until it soars in value.
