In addition to Bitcoin (BTC) and Satoshi (Sat), I would like to propose the unit Nakamoto (Nak). Thoughts? #addition #Bitcoin #BTC #Satoshi #Sat #propose #unit #Nakamoto #Nak #Thoughts

I like Bitcent or 1/100 of 1 Bitcoin
But no one ever uses it
This is redundant and not necessary.
The already established denominations are;
Bitcoin BTC 1
deciBitcoin dBTC 0.1
centiBitcoin cBTC 0.01
milliBitcoin mBTC 0.001
microBitcoin uBTC 0.000001
Satoshi 0.00000001
How much is a Hal?
No thanks
I’m not for it, I’m not against it
Sats seems easier because there is no decimal for 1 sat. I think the decimal throws new people off
SI prefixes FTW
nahhh, let’s not make it anymore confusing than it already is for the normal folks
i like sats
i like Nak Probably more usfull in dily life then Sat
Makes sense
I do like this!
Makes sense. Hope it catches.
Our community is so awesome.
I am pretty sure the big shift for a lot of people will be the day we start to look at sats instead of btc as the core unit to convert into dollar denominated terms and follow as a ticket. What people around me don’t see to grasp is how many units there are. 1.7 quadrillion sats left to be mined. That is only 8.1% of the total amount. Wonderful defence against debasement, wonderful abundance of exchangeable units.
Yes that is a good one
Meh….
No
Good idea; I’ll go with it.
Great you put it out on blast and out there now some idiot will make a shit coin called NAT – Nakamoto 😩 and ruin everything
Good idea tho
The idea is good, but a lot of people are already used to calculating by the old measure, but it will serve as a good example for another tokens.
Why can’t we just call sats “bits?” It just makes more sense.
Not needed, only more confusing to future adopters.
Someone said Hayek. Doesn’t know what it means
Nakamoto makes more sense!!!
All for it
I like it.
Our USD fiat system uses cents & dollars but they are only 100x apart from each other. Eight zeroes is something to get use to between sats and btc.
As Bitcoin gains traction, it will make sense for us to have a unit between Bitcoin and Sats since it will be much easier to say the Price of something is 10 Naks, VS 0.0001 BTC or 10,000 Sats.
Eventually, twenty years from now, everything will be sold in Sats when one BTC equals $10,000,000, but until then, it’s an intermediate step. Thoughts?
!lntip 1000
Sorry to say but dumb. But again original thought. Kudos
Just stack sats/bitties
1000 sats = 1 hayek
!lntip 1000 (1 hayek)
I always wondering and thinking about those zeros and then 1 in the future when I will be paying for my new car or smthg haha
Nice chart!
