Agreed that Wasabi coinjoins seem to offer more anonymity than Samourai whirlpool. NGL samourai devs have really put me off, don’t even feel like trying their product because of all the drama they try and stir on twitter.
Man… I’ve been hearing all the bashing and arguing between wasabi and samurai I don’t know what is the truth anymore…
Any way to get some unbiased opinion? Meaning not “this is the best thing ever created and that is absolute garbage”…
Coinjoins are critical to Bitcoin’s ongoing fight for our financial sovereignty and privacy. Right now governments and institutions are paying millions to companies like chainalysis, ciphertrace, elliptic etc. to spy on people’s transactions.
Whether their actions are morally justifiable is a debate for another day, but **privacy is a basic human right**. We must continue to develop the tools that help us achieve this on Bitcoin.
I have used joinmarket, wasabi and samourai. They each have their strengths and shortcomings. The devs behind each project have their own differing views and opinions. But they are all working to make transacting Bitcoin more private. This is a war we cannot afford to lose. So support who you wish. Or better yet, try them all.
And JoinMarket is a true anon mixer?
