In my opinion, he’s trying to protect the [15 million dollars that SBF gave him to endorse FTX](https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/08/ftx-spokesman-kevin-oleary-says-he-lost-15-million-crypto-payday.html). He then said he invested [10 million back into FTX](https://news.yahoo.com/kevin-oleary-says-lost-almost-152523757.html). So he’s up 5 million in SBF’s scheme. He knows that if SBF is convicted of fraud and theft that he’ll need to repay that 15 million of stolen funds. So he stands to lose the original 15 plus the 10 he invested. That’s a powerful incentive to protect SBF.
I met Kevin in 2017 and asked his thoughts about bitcoin, he said he didn’t like it… when I drilled further he said he actually didn’t know anything about it, he’s an actor. Seeing him after shilling for shit, knew he was just paid to say so.
