Last week I complained about Coinbase. You all suggested Strike. These folks sell $130 above market price. I bought. #week #complained #Coinbase #suggested #Strike #folks #sell #market #price #boughtadigabusymind
Past week I complained about Coinbase. You all prompt Strike. These people sell $130 previously mentioned market price. I bought.
130÷24288 = 0.54%, IIRC advanced trading on Coinbase is roughly the same. I think you’d find that the average spread on Strike would be lower than that though.
They have a much smaller gap than coinbase.
You’re not going to find a place that has a lower spread/fee for your purchase amount.
I just checked and the price on Strike is LOWER than the price on coinbase.
Where are you quoting market price? I’m looking at binance and strike right now. They have a difference of $1. Your source for market price is probably not live
SwanBtc my man
Love strike. Only downside is the limits.
And where are you getting “market” price from? Because you get better price than Coinbase. Just not by much.
Fml… inb4 people cry for a .5% spread.
Evidences that we need more depuration.
I have used Coinbase as my primary, and I pay only 0.1% in fees (because of my volume) on the Advanced Trading platform. I have not EVER found an overall cheaper on/off ramp to BTC.
Binance.us… zero fees to ach, zero fees to buy btc at market price.
Not all of us recommended Strike. I find it very difficult to recommend companies that advertise as Bitcoin only while exporting user funds to 3rd party custodians like Prime Trust where they are exposed to billions in shitcoin liabilities.
Still using CB with the advanced trade. Never had issues… been with them since like 2013
If you were buying Bitcoin. Cash app the the best bet.
Just to make it clear – what they don’t charge in ‘fees’ they do charge in pricing. It all works out around the same. FWIW I usually found it’s around $80 higher than the coinbase ‘market’ price I see on trading view. I use Strike as much as I’m able to.
I always buy on binance and set buy orders at a lower price I know it will hit. Can transfer out to self custody wallet straight after purchase
I don’t worry about fees too much anymore. I just try to support a good company like Swan and I don’t mind paying them to provide a service. I’m trading bad money for good, I’m not going to quibble about a fee unless it’s really ridiculous.
you were robbed, damn, not even Binance is this greedy.
Before buying you always get yhe lrice you will oay, so its YOuR fault for over paying.
Besides this hodl hodl and bisq are way better then strike or any of those apps.
The spread on Strike is a bit less than CB pro.. although it’s probably negligible now that coinbase added advanced trading..
I’ve just transfered some bitcoin from my Trezor, to Coinbase. Then converted to cash and sent to my bank account. The fees were really painful and tbh I felt really ripped off.
What would have been a good method to do this without the ridiculous fees?
I also found the whole system a little stressful, and time consuming so the simpler the better would be good too.
Strike would be excellent if I could buy more than 25 dollars at a time. Complete joke restriction.
They’re all the same to some extent. One exchange has a wide spread, another has a purchase fee, another has a withdrawal fee. You’ll have to pay the piper no matter what.
i luv people these people….what do you want for 100 dollars…..look around you may find that on the floor
I have six figures in Crypto.com, and I haven’t lost one second of sleep worrying if they will fail. I would recommend to anyone. Great app and great rewards
I’m staying with coinbase. They’re gonna be a crypto behemoth one day
