Kid I ran into once had multiple mining rigs spread out across different rooms in his freshman dorm. When confronted about them by staff he goes “I build pcs and let my friends borrow them. They think I’m a nice guy because they have a cool gaming PC and I get to mine in the background”
He got caught by tripping breakers a couple times. Also networking/security was able to see pretty easily that there was a mining operation going on, be careful out there
