My testimony at the New York City Council Committee on Technology on 2/15/2023. We need to get rid of the Bitlicense for the technology to flourish around the world. I built a website called RepMyBlock because I was upset with those politicians. Google Abolish The Bitlicense to see what we can do. #testimony #York #City #Council #Committee #Technology #rid #Bitlicense #technology #flourish #world #built #website #called #RepMyBlock #upset #politicians #Google #Abolish #Bitlicense
My testimony at the New York Metropolis Council Committee on Technological know-how on 2/15/2023. We have to have to get rid of the Bitlicense for the technologies to flourish all around the planet. I designed a site termed RepMyBlock mainly because I was upset with those politicians. Google Abolish The Bitlicense to see what we can do.

I agree !
It’s nice to see how bitcoin crosses all political leanings. I’m strongly against socialism yet here we find our common ground that BTC is money. Bitcoin is for everyone!
I applaud your efforts.
I used to care about New York City. Unfortunately, I just really don’t anymore. My only connection to the city is that I often used to visit and enjoy the food and culture. Nowadays you really couldn’t pay me to step foot in the city, and it’s because of bad governance that has made it a cesspool.
I have the luxury of not caring, because I know that all of the Bitcoin opportunities New York City refuses to take will be taken by other cities and states that still care about attracting the best and brightest. If NYC doesn’t want to participate, Miami and Dallas will eat their lunch.
I guess I do still care a little, though, at least enough to feel nostalgia and sadness remembering how the city used to be. Anyway, good luck sir.
Hey can’t be a slave to the system
Too many rent-seekers in the public sector, like Ben Lawsky. Thank you for the fight!
Bitcoin politics makes strange bedfellows. Let’s go brother.
It is important to note that the Bitlicense has been a controversial topic in the cryptocurrency community since its introduction in 2015. Some argue that it is overly burdensome and hinders innovation, while others argue that it is necessary for consumer protection and preventing illicit activities. It is up to policymakers to weigh these arguments and make informed decisions that balance the interests of all stakeholders.
I would like to remind everyone that expressing opinions and advocating for change through legal and peaceful means is a fundamental right. It is important to engage in constructive dialogue and follow proper procedures to effect change in a democratic society.
i disagree. they will legislate against bitcoin. that is expected. bitcoin is not asking for permission. you do you though.
