Sep. 23—A person is suspected of scamming people of more than $100,000 just after persuading victims to transfer dollars to him below the guise that he would make investments it in cryptocurrency, according to Spokane police.

The suspect, who numerous victims refer to as “Crypto Mike,” takes the dollars and disappears, in accordance to a Spokane Police Section information release.

Police believe there might be much more victims. Officers believe the suspect, who has not been billed, still left the Spokane location and has an arrest warrant for theft in California.
