Hindsight is a crazy cruel thing.
To be fair, back then there was probably zero confidence that bitcoin will even survive, not to mention going 2000x from there.
That’s why people say today’s bitcoin at $20k is a *much* better buy than back when it was $20. I know 1000x is out of the picture now but I sleep tight even when I put in a good chunk of my money.
Back then I guess I wouldn’t have put in anything more than a few hundred dollars lol.

Cringe memories stop me in my tracks sometimes. The next time that happens I’ll try to think of this and I’ll remember it could have been worse
I remember when 2 of my friends used to mine it back in 2014 when the price was about $500. They were mining like 1 BTC a month. When they tried to explain to me what Bitcoin is, I was like “Why the hell would I pay $500 for some internet money someone else invented?”.
Oh boy, was I wrong. I should have learnt more about it back then. Instead I started buying at around $10,000 much later on.
Can someone explain to me what is the point of this kind of posts? Did you know that if you invested in Coca Cola when it was established and sold uum… today, youd be super rich. bet you didnt know that 50 years ago. I mean, seriously.. chasing fiat value for bitcoin only to sell FOR fiat money is completely against the whole point of bitcoin…..Bitcoin should be our solution to a broken monetary system… not a ”get-rich (relatively) quick” scheme…

People are having exact stream of thoughts right now about #btc price. Has it stabilized finally at $23k ? Is it time to exit before it goes down to $20k ? Are you tired of waiting for it to hit 60k ?
Imagine in 10 years from now Bitcoin is trading at $100 per coin, whoever bought at $60,000 will be ridiculed for life.
Edit: Thanks for the downvotes. I’m guessing all these idiots bought in around 60k and expect Bitcoin to hit $1,000,000 before their 18th birthday.
