Switched from Binance/Coinbase to Bisq for the past few months DCA and love it.

I just set a limit order that tracks market rate, and then wait for the notification on my mobile that someone’s accepted the offer. It works great.

Once there’s a user rating system (Bisq 2?) I think it’ll make big steps forward in user-base (not that I’ve had any bad experiences).

I tried it once a few years ago. The UX was so bad I just dropped it immediately. Looking forward to try the version 2.

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th points you list are mitigated by simply taking immediate custody of your BTC. The 1st point is the real point you have, and it’s a decent one. But also mitigatable by CoinJoin. Or sending it around to other wallets you also own.

The real question is, when will the major banks shut off access to the exchanges?

Lol Bisq has horrible liquidity and pretty sure there was a vulnerability recently in the protocol
